Taylor Swift is country music’s most beautiful lady, according to the just-released annual Maxim Hot 100 list. The statuesque singer lands at No. 26, with fellow country singers Julianne Hough and Kellie Pickler sliding in at No. 47 and No. 72, respectively.
Proclaimed as the “definitive list of the world’s most beautiful ladies,” the countdown of breathtaking beauties named model Bar Refaeli the fairest of them all, with pop singer Katy Perry giving the music industry its strongest showing at No. 4. In anticipation of the upcoming presidential election, Maxim decided to take a democratic approach to this year’s rankings, giving readers the opportunity to weigh in on their favorite females for the very first time in the popular countdown’s history.
Swift’s latest achievement comes on the heels of being named the 11th most influential celebrity, as tallied by Forbes magazine for their Celebrity 100 countdown. The prestigious list ranked each celebrity based on five factors: money, television/radio, press, web and social rank. Swift’s strongest showing was in social appeal, where she landed at No. 7.
The crossover appeal of her last multi-platinum album, ‘Speak Now,’ also proved helpful, giving the entertainer a No. 14 placement in television/radio. Swift raked in an impressive $57 million in the last year, making her the 22nd richest celebrity on the list.
