Cast Iron Skillets: D’s Year Long Wait and a Video She Couldn’t Stop Watching[VIDEO]

I don't know about you, but when I think of a cast iron skillet I think of my mom. My mom made the best ever fried chicken and when she used her cast iron skillet it was even better. I had always wanted a cast iron skillet, but had never purchased one.

How do you Eat your Wings? [POLL]

Strange question, but after a gobble fest at Jim's Wings last night, I noticed everyone eats them a bit different-even at my own table.

That Girl Has A Chicken On Her Head [VIDEO]

Todd here: I recently took a trip to North Carolina to visit my Mom in the hospital. (She is doing much better) While I was there I had a chance to stay on my sister's farm in Mebane.  She and her boyfriend have huntin' dogs, cows, horses, guineas, and 36 chickens! Lighter Chicken Pot Pie

I love to cook! There is no question about it. Cooking for me is like meditation. I am at one with the kitchen, a 'no interrupt zone'. Dinner with the family is a time to connect with the kids and my James, cooking dinner is a time to connect with myself. And when the food turns out delicious and disappears from their plates, well that's the best thing ever. This is why I share these recipes with you, to hopefully bring you a moment of sanity AND oooh's and ahhh's at the dinner table.
