Mother and Pastor Say Kendra Balentine was at Church when Longmont Teenager was Killed

18-year-old Kendra Balentine has been arrested in the hit-and-run that killed a Longmont teenager on New Year’s Eve. Balentine is facing charges of leaving the scene of a fatal accident. Police accuse her of striking and killing 16-year-old Jason Grimmer with her car as he ran from a fight. Her mother says the two were at a New Year’s Eve church potluck for more than four hours the night of the incident. Read the whole story
