Fatal Hit and Run on New Year’s Eve Kills Longmont Teen

Longmont police say a fatal hit-and-run after a New Year’s Eve scuffle claimed the life of a 16-year-old boy. Yesterday officials were looking for a light colored Chevy van which fled the scene. Police say the scuffle happened a couple of hours before midnight outside a Noodles restaurant.
The victim and a group of males had what police called a “disturbance” with another group of males near a Noodles, where police say a group of males arrived in different vehicles. Police say one of the vehicles hit and killed the boy as he ran from the fight. See more from 9 News.
