LCHA Judged Trail Ride This Saturday
The Larimer County Horseman’s Association celebrates it’s 40th Anniversary this year with a change up from it’s usual Poker Run.
The Judged Trail Ride is a fund raiser for the organization,
is open to everyone, and there’ll be prizes.
Saturday, September 22 at Lory State Park, Eltuck Picnic Area
Registration opens at 8:30 AM the first riders start at 9:30 AM.
The last riders start at 11:00.
The ride will include five stations (not necessarily in this
order):
• Bridge crossing
• Dead-end backup
• Down and up a gulley
• Mud puddle and log crossing
• Offside dismount, put on a raincoat, and lead your
horse 10 feet.
It is also Larimer County Horseman’s Association
(LCHA) 40th Anniversary. After the ride, they’re
celebrating, and you’re invited: Catered lunch –
barbecue (they’ll also have some veggie dishes)
