If you have always dreamed about it, now is your chance to become a fair queen.  The Larimer County Fair and Rodeo Board has announced that this year’s Lady-In-Waiting competition is scheduled for Saturday August 3rd from 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. at The Ranch during the Larimer County Fair and Rodeo. The Larimer County Fair Board accepting nominations for the 2013 Lady-In-Waiting competition.

The new Lady-In-Waiting will join current Larimer County Fair and PRCA Rodeo royalty Danielle Mayer, who will take over the role of Larimer County Fair & Rodeo Queen, as she has served as Lady-In-Waiting this past here to Larimer County Fair Queen, Savannah Martinez. Martinez will turn over her duties as Queen to Mayer the last night of the Fair, the same night that the new Lady-In-Waiting will be crowned.

WHAT ARE THEY LOOKING FOR?

The perspective candidates will be judged on personality, modeling, knowledge, interviews and the Coveted Horsemanship competition. There has been a change to the qualifications for the competition, as to where the applicants reside.  This year applicants are be eligible if they live in Larimer County or within fifteen (15) miles of The Ranch Events Complex, providing they have been a member of 4-H or other horse groups within Larimer County for a period of three (3) years. Ladies interested in competing for Lady-In-Waiting at this year’s event have until July 15, 2013 to submit an application.

WHERE DO I GET AN APPLICATION?

Applicants may download applications and fine more information online at www.LarimerCountyFair.org/royalty. The deadline for submitting applications is Monday, July 15 at midnight.
The 2013 Larimer Country Fair & PRCA Rodeo will be held August 2-6 at The Ranch in Loveland.
