Keith Urban Sings for Scotty McCreery — In the Men’s Room
If you’ve ever been to Nashville, you know music is pretty much everywhere in the city — and when you’re recent ‘American Idol’ winner Scotty McCreery, that includes the men’s room.
McCreery, currently in town to record his debut album, recently received an unusual serenade while using the facilities.
Recalled the young star in a recent interview, “I was in the bathroom, and I walked in and somebody was singin’ and I was like, ‘Who’s this cat in here singing like that?’ And out walks Keith Urban. So we kind of met cool in the bathroom like that. We washed our hands before we shook hands.”
This should be only the first of many of what McCreery called “lowdown cool encounters” with “people that I’ve looked up to for so long.” Enjoy the ride, Scotty — and keep washing those hands!
