Josh Abbott Coming to the Grizzly Rose [VIDEO] [POLL]

I have been doing radio spots for the Grizzly Rose for years now so there isn't one act that has been through their doors that I haven't heard of and  one of my favorites that is no stranger to the Grizzly Rose is the Josh Abbott Band.

I have done several Grizzly Rose ads over the years with Josh Abbott song hooks but I think this song is probably my favorite tune and one I think would sound great on any radio station including our own.  So, I always take it on as my responsibility to share some of these great songs that  may never see the radio light of day.

The 2000 Texas based band is comprised of Josh Abbott (vocals, guitar), Preston Wait (fiddle, guitar), Edward Villanueva (drums), James Hertless (bass) and Caleb Keeter (guitar).

The single is from the "She's Like Texas" album that was released in 2008 on the "Pretty Damn Tough" label.  Kacey Musgraves, best known as a contestant from the 5th season of ‘Nashville Star,’ is the duet partner and the blonde in the video is actually Josh Abbott's wife.

Josh Abbott almost has that Steve Earle sound which I can really relate to and I will also be featuring Kacey Musgraves later this week.  {I LOVE HER VOICE} In fact, I think I will tweet her this afternoon and say hello!  Not because she's HOT but because it's the professional thing to do in this new digital age.
