The smoke can bee seen from every where and the smell of it hit Fort Collins today. The High Park Fire continues to grow and it is up to if not past 20,000 acres. It has destroyed at least 18 structures and has forced countless evacuations. Winds were no help today in controlling the fire. It is still at 0% containment and it is said to have jumped the Poudre river. Evacuations notices have been put in for the Horsetooth area and The Ranch has been set up as an evacuation shelter. National resources will be brought in tomorrow to help with the fire. Right now they are concerned about protecting a group of communication towers on top of Buckhorn Mountain. Lets hope that this can get under control soon and hopefully with the help of National Guard this can get stopped.
