Last night the CBR 'Championship Bull Riding' Cinch Tour made a stop in Huron, South Dakota, and tour points leader Clayton Foltyn won the average to increase his lead over second place challenger Chase Outlaw. The 2011 CBR Cinch Tour Finale is set for September 24th (tickets) at Loveland's Bud Events Center.

The top spot in Thursday night’s long round when to Tularosa, N.M. cowboy Stetson Lewis on Dibbet Bucking Bulls’ Skimpy. Lewis edged out last night’s winner, Friday Wright, by a half-point. Cole Echols, Lane Nobles and Lucas Dick rounded out the top five in the long go.

The championship round brought the best bulls in CBR to Huron. Cody Wood of Weatherford, Tex. came out on top with an 87.5-point score on Pale Face Jose of Johnson Cattle/All Star’s. Clayton Foltyn was the only other cowboy to successfully cover his bull in the short go. Foltyn’s 86-point ride aboard Chad Berger’s Big Stuff in the short go brought his event total to 172 points and earned him the event title.

After another fan-packed performance, CBR is loading up and heading north for tomorrow night’s CBR Cinch Tour event, the Dakota Magic Championship Bull Riding event in Hankinson, N.D.
