After 30 years in Northern Colorado, Schmidt’s Bakery Items are Auctioned Off
After 30 years in Northern Colorado, Schmidt’s Bakery is selling off it’s assets. An online auction started yesterday at the former Schmidt’s Bakery & Delicatessen in Loveland. The state seized Schmidt’s on Jan. 8 for nonpayment of taxes, and the owners filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy Feb. 6th.
Denver-based auction and liquidation company Dickensheet & Associates started an online-only auction of Schmidt’s equipment on behalf of U.S. Bankruptcy Court on Friday and opened the building for inspection Monday.
Bidding will close at 11 a.m. today on the 1st items, which is taking place at dickensheet.com.
