Young Woman Reported Missing After Going Out To Bars Alone In Fort Collins
A young woman has just been reported missing by Fort Collins Police, and now officials are seeking the public's help in locating her.
On Monday night (Oct. 24) at around 11:20 p.m. local time, Fort Collins Police Services (FCPS) received a report of found property that had been left near a bar in downtown Fort Collins.
Among the personal items that were found include an ID, a phone, keys, and other personal miscellaneous items that police now know to belong to 21-year-old Winter Ryan.
Officers brought the retrieved items to Ryan's house when they learned from her family that she had never returned home, according to an Oct. 25 press release via FCPS,
Based on information received from family and security video footage obtained from several businesses, officials reported on Tuesday (Oct. 25) that Winter got a ride downtown and went to several bars by herself on Monday night.
She was last seen on video leaving Oak Street Plaza around 10 p.m. after sleeping there for about 45 minutes and appeared disoriented.

Police are seeking the public's help in the search for Winter Ryan; the following is a description of some of her identifying characteristics
- white female
- 5’8 tall
- 140 lbs
- long brown hair
- Was last seen wearing a white hoodie under a black jacket, ripped jeans, and light-colored shoes
Police say they've checked with local hospitals and shelters, but Winter is not at any of them and has still not returned home as of Tuesday morning.
Police are concerned for her safety, especially due to freezing temperatures. The Larimer County Search and Rescue Team is responding to help look for her.
