There is a way to experience live butterflies, especially Monarchs in November in Colorado. The Butterfly Pavilion will be opening a new exhibit on November 8 dedicated to the Monarch butterfly. The exhibit, Monarch Magic, will run November 8 through 30 at Westminster's Butterfly Pavilion.

Monarch butterflies are a special species as they migrate annually and cover over 3,000 miles of territory from the northern areas of the United States and Canada, all the way to the Oyamei Fir forests in the mountains of Mexico.

Monarch Butterfly Release at the Butterfly Pavilion

If you have never seen a butterfly release before, you might want to set the date for November 8 at the Butterfly Pavilion. Hundreds of Monarch butterflies will be released into the Wings of the Tropics Butterfly Conservatory on this day and will certainly be a sight to see. I recently took my wife to the Butterfly Pavilion as a surprise, which was a very memorable experience.
