Don’t mess with me Sunday night. The Duttons return to my living room with “Yellowstone” Season 5, Part 2 finally airing.

For foreseeable Sundays, I’ve planned my bison burger dinner with a stiff Beth-inspired whiskey to follow.

The chills and tears cued by this promo shared by Paramount Network.

I’ve not dared to watch any of those sneak peek leaked videos.

I wouldn’t want to end up at the Train Station, you know.

The Train Station plays a key role in Dutton lore even though it hasn’t appeared on screen that many times.

The words “Take him to the train station” seemed harsh enough. Then we really learned about the remote station.

What is the "Yellowstone" Train Station?

As John Dutton explained, “It’s the trashcan for everyone who’s attacked us.”

And there have been plenty of attacks throughout Dutton dynasty history.

The fictional roadside cliff where ranch hands take out the trash sits along the Montana-Wyoming border in a jurisdictional no-man’s land.

Fans suggest that the Wyoming-Idaho Zone of Death inspired the series’ body-dumping spot. The real-life rural area is 50 square miles of Yellowstone National Park. Most sits in Wyoming. Some in Idaho.

Because no one lives within 50 miles of the Wyoming court jurisdiction, no jury of peers could be called.

Thus, the theory goes, a murder committed in the area would not be prosecutable.

Imagine if the Duttons settled in Colorado. Where might the Yellowstone Train Station exist?

I’ve got a few ideas.

7 Colorado Spots That Could Fill in for the ‘Yellowstone’ Train Station

All in gist, no legal advice at all, here’s where the fictional “Yellowstone” Train Station might be if the show’s leading Dutton family were to have settled in colorful Colorado rather than rugged Montana.
