Imagine if you will for a moment...you get the engagement ring you always dreamt of from the man of your dreams and you're celebrating a nice getaway in Colorado when all of a sudden you realize that...it's gone. The damn ring is gone!

That's exactly what happened to a Texas woman who lost her engagement ring deep in the Colorado snow during a vacation with her fiance.

Paulina Morales and her fiance' Deven Maraj, were visiting Breckenridge when her engagement ring fell from her finger while she was playing in the snow on a trail just west of the Blue River.

That's where the super hero of a good samaritan came into play with his metal detector.

After offering up a $500 reward while frantically searching for the ring which was custom designed by Devan's father for over two days, Dad had to head back home to Texas...but here's where the super hero of a good samaritan comes into play.

Tony Pizzamigalo decided to take up the search after seeing a CBS Denver report on the missing item.

So Tony used his metal detector and said that it took him  a short time to find the ring in the area specified by the couple.

Pizzamigalo said he plans to donate the $500 reward to the Summit Rescue Group, a volunteer team of mountain rescuers.
