Win a Trip to Napa at Fundraiser for Disadvantaged Kids in NoCo
Northern Colorado United for Youth (NoCo Unify) is holding their 14th annual Suitcase Party at Northern Colorado Regional Airport August 19 from 6-11pm.
NoCo Unify is a non-profit organization that helps raise money for disadvantages kids in Northern Colorado.
"Tuned In to NoCo" got to speak with NoCo Unify President, Matthew Brunk, about this fundraiser. Brunk says this year's raffle prize will include a weekend trip to Napa and all you gotta do is bring your suitcase.
"Bring your suitcase and you have a chance to win a trip. This year we are sending people on a private plane to Napa. So, if you win the drawing, you get on a plane that night, fly out to Napa, you have a great time out in Wine Country, and come home on Monday."
Along with this raffle, there will be a live auction and Brunk says the prizes this year are pretty spectacular.
"If you love great auction items, we've got a heck of a line-up. Our live auction includes an African Safari. So, you've got five days, six nights. Meals are included. If you want it to be a safari style you can, if you want it to be a hunt you can. It's a pretty sweet package."
Brunk says this year they are hoping to give back to the charities they weren't able to give enough to during the pandemic.
"We didn't quite hit the demand or the need In 2020. In 2021 it was a little light in the events we could do. So, we're hoping that some of those organizations that we already committed to, especially in 2020... that we might be able to come back this year and say hey, we short-changed you unfortunately and want to make up the difference of what you didn't get."
