Weld Health Announces Easier Vaccine Sign-Up
If you've had a hard time trying to schedule an appointment to get the COVID-19 vaccine, you're not alone.
Phase 2 of the COVID-19 vaccine rollout begins this Friday (Apr. 2), which means even more people will become eligible to receive the vaccine in Colorado.
As the state prepares to give vaccine access to thousands of more Coloradans later this week, The Weld County Health Department announced on Wednesday (Mar. 31) an easier COVID vaccine sign-up process via the county’s website.

As of this Friday, anyone 16 years of age and up will be eligible for a vaccine in Colorado; to sign up for your vaccine in Weld County or to view a list of local providers, visit WeldHealth.org.
“The Weld County Health Department webpage continues to be one of the most efficient ways to register for and see where vaccinations are available,” Public Health Services Director Shaun May said in an agency news release. “It’s exciting that we are now moving into the final vaccination phase.”
As per the news release, health officials have continued to stress that COVID-19 vaccines are safe, effective and available at no cost.
In partnership with Sunrise Community Health, the Weld County Health Department is providing a large community vaccination site that will operate on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Monfort Family Clinic, at 2930 11th Ave., in Evans.
Additionally, vaccines will also be distributed on Wednesdays at the Weld County Health Department's South County clinic at 4209 Weld County Road 24½ in Longmont.
At this time, the Weld County Health Department is not providing any vaccinations at its main office in Greeley,
As of Tuesday, Weld County reported 18.3% of the population is fully vaccinated, and 13.2% have had one dose of two-part vaccines. Statewide, approximately 16.6% of residents are fully vaccinated, and about 27.5% have received one dose of two-part vaccines.
