The Weld County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in identifying two men suspected of stealing an air compressor trailer last week near Fort Lupton.

According to a press release from Weld County Sheriff Steve Reams, the trailer was stolen in the early morning hours last Friday, March 19 from an oil and gas site near Weld County roads 6 and 19 southwest of Fort Lupton.

The trailer is said to be worth more than $15,000 and is described as an orange 2014 Sullivan D90.

The suspects were later spotted on a gas station surveillance camera in Westminster towing the trailer with a black 1990s Chevrolet 1500 or similar style pickup.

As per the press release, the driver is described as a Latino man of average height and build who was last seen wearing a blue jacket, blue pants, a gray baseball cap and black shoes; The passenger is described as a white man, tall with an athletic build who was last seen wearing a black COVID-19 gaiter, a dark jacket, dark pants and white shoes.

If you recognize either of the men in the photos or have any information pertaining to the theft, you are asked to call Weld County Non-Emergency Dispatch at (970) 356-4000 and ask to speak with Deputy Alex Fischer.

Tips can also be submitted through the Crime Stoppers website at www.crimeshurt.com. Those submitting tips through Crime Stoppers that lead to the arrest and filing of charges on a suspect may be eligible for a cash reward.
