Weld County Reports 450+ New COVID-19 Cases, 6 New Deaths

Weld County has now recorded over 25,000 COVID-19 cases with the addition of 466 new cases reported to the county's cumulative tally in the last week.
As of Thursday (Feb. 18), there have been 25,290 COVID-19 cases recorded in Weld County since the beginning of the pandemic.
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment reported 25 active COVID-19 outbreaks this week across Weld County; for a full list of outbreaks in the county, click here.
Weld County health officials also reported 6 new COVID-19 deaths in the last week, bringing the county's total number of deaths to 222 since last March, when the pandemic first started.
There have been 11 COVID-19 related fatalities in the county since February 1.
The county’s two-week average positive test rate stood at 5.32% on Thursday, which is down from 5.42% a week ago. In the Greeley area, that rate is 4.6%. North Weld County continues to have the highest positive test rate in the county, 6.9%.
There are currently 68 COVID-19 patients being treated across Weld regional hospitals, which is down from 69 a week ago.
Additionally, there are 285 hospital beds, 44 ICU beds and 107 ventilators currently available. A week ago, there were 311 hospital beds, 35 ICU beds and 95 ventilators.
