Weld County Farming Accident Victim Identified as Fort Collins Man

The person killed in a farming accident Monday in Weld County has been identified as a 25-year-old Fort Collins man.

According to the Greeley Tribune, Aaron Sokoloski was involved in an accident in which he was caught in a PTO between a tractor and a grain auger.

The accident happened at 1 p.m. in the 40700 block of Weld County Road 21, about 7 miles west of Ault. Sokoloski was pronounced dead at the scene. OSHA and the Weld County Sheriff’s office are investigating the incident as an accidental death.
