How Do You Adopt a Dog From the Humane Society of Weld County?

First, you should take a look at the available dogs for adoption online at the Humane Society of Weld County. You can also visit the adoption center located at 1620 42nd Street in Evans.

Screening is done for every adoption at the Humane Society of Weld County. Here is what you can expect:

  • provide proof of food, water, shelter, and compassion.
  • Immunizations and examination by a licensed veterinarian.
  • Adopters must not abandon the pet at any time.

More information about the adoption process can be found HERE.

The Humane Society of Weld County understands if you are not able to adopt one of the dogs in their full facility. However, you can still help these animals get the care they need while they are in search of their forever homes by donating. Donations in any amount can be accepted through the Humane Society of Weld County's donation page.

We all hope that the animals that are located in the shelters are able to find a good and loving home soon. Hopefully, this inspires you to open your heart and home to one of these dogs that are in need of a family.
