You never know what kind of great food you are going to find when you are on a road trip. Sometimes delicious food at a place you never planned on eating at leaves a memory so fond that you wish you had one of these restaurants in your hometown.

That is exactly what happened to me this past weekend. My wife and I were driving back from a trip to Wisconsin and stopped for a night in West Omaha. I booked the hotel online and we had the destination set to lay our heads down to get some rest. Before we got to the hotel, my wife asked if we could stop at the store so she could grab a couple of items for the next day's travels. As she was inside the store, I looked for a place still open and we could grab a bite to eat. Normally, I am not one for fast food, but that might have been our only option at this time of night.

To our luck, there was a place that was open late and it had great reviews, so I figured we would give it a try. The place was called Hawaiian Bros and the fast-casual restaurant served up, you guessed it, Hawaiian food. I have had Hawaiian food before, but never really in Colorado.

Hawaiian Bros Fast Casual Restaurant

Hawaiian Bros Island Grill did not disappoint in the slightest. We both loved the food so much, that we agreed that this would be a great restaurant to have in Northern Colorado as we would eat there semi-often. Hawaiian chicken, pork, and salads were all available on the Hawaiian Bros Island Grill menu. Since there was an option for a combination plate, we both tried different variations of the Hawaiian chicken options. Huli Huli, Honolulu, and Kilauea chicken dishes were all amazing. The macaroni salad and the rice were both great as well.

So if someone from Hawaiian Bros Island Grill happens to read this, can you please make some calls or pull some strings to get a few Hawaiian Bros Island Grill locations in the state of Colorado? Please?
