Online Giant Wayfair Launching First Colorado Store in Denver
There are many places where I enjoy shopping online. However, every once in a while, I wish that some of these online retailers would have a brick-and-mortar location, just so I can go check things out in person and see what I am getting before patiently awaiting my package's arrival.
Why Home Decor Feels Risky When Ordered Online
Home goods and decor in particular can sometimes be a little lackluster when you finally get your package, and it may be something that just doesn't fit with your home. It almost feels like a waste of anticipation, and you feel somewhat let down. If only there were a place you could see it in person in Colorado.

Soon, an online retailer will have a store that you can walk into in Colorado. Wayfair has announced that a location will be coming to the Denver Metro Area in late 2026. This well-known home goods and decor retailer opened its first physical store in 2024 in Wilmette, Illinois, and has plans for more locations in Atlanta, Georgia, and Yonkers, New York.

The Denver location of Wayfair will be located where Macy's once operated at the Shops at Northfield at 8298 East Northfield Boulevard. The store will have 19 departments that include furniture, housewares, appliances, mattresses, florals, decor, and design services on two floors.
Same-Day Shopping with Delivery Options
According to 9 News, customers will be able to purchase many of the items and take them home the same day. Purchases of large items such as sofas, furniture, dining sets, and larger appliances will have to wait a few days for delivery to their home.

The new Wayfair store in Denver will also be large enough to have a cafe where shoppers can grab a bite to eat while deciding on what home decor items would look best in their homes, too.
