In the past year, something has changed in me. For some strange reason, the guy who didn't really care for plants in the home has all of a sudden purchased a handful of house plants. The latest additions have been a monstera and a banana plant. What can I say? I am a sucker for good deals, and these two plants were only $10 each at the grocery store.

House plants can bring character to a home, and they can also improve the air quality. For me, it is neither of those reasons, but they are certainly benefits. Plus, they are also kind of fun to take care of.
