A popular Fort Collins event returns this weekend!

Tour de Fat is back for another year here in Northern Colorado. It's a celebration of the wacky and weird that's put on by New Belgium Brewing.

This is a costumed bicycle parade which leads into a party at New Belgium in Fort Collins.

If you plan on attending this celebration on August 23rd, there's a few things you should know.

Tour de Fat Fort Collins 2025: Festivities, Parade & More

Date: Saturday, August 23, 2025
Location: New Belgium Brewing, 500 Linden St, Fort Collins, CO, and the Parade starting at City Park
Parade: 9:30 am start from City Park, looping Mountain Avenue until 11:30 am
Festival at brewery: 11:00 am to 7:00 pm

Tickets & Admission Details

Admission: 100% free, there are no tickets needed for general entry.

The only cost is for beer, food, and merchandise. All of the purchases and proceeds go towards local bike nonprofits.

Parade Timeline & Route

Start: Costume bike parade begins at 9:30 am from City Park
Route: Loops along Mountain Avenue, ending around 11:30 am

Brewery gates open at 11:00 am (before parade ends)

The entertainment begins at noon. Some of the highlights include:

There is a Family Zone with non-alcoholic options for people and guests of all ages.

Biking, Bike Parking & Transit in Fort Collins

Best Way to Arrive: Ride your bike
Bike Parking: Available across from the brewery at SW corner of Linden & Buckingham

Parade-to-Brewery Route:

• Ride north on Sherwood St.
• Right on Elm St.
• Jump onto Poudre River Trail
• Left onto Linden St. to bike parking

If you plan on driving remember that there is limited car parking available. The official Tour de Fat website actually encourages you to Uber or Lyft if you don't plan on biking.

There is limited handicapped parking.

You can park on the west side of Linden Street, but you will only be able to gain access via the Linden Center drive lot from Vine Street. This is North of New Belgium.

Beer & Food Offerings at Tour de Fat 2025

If you're hungry, don't worry. There will be plenty of food trucks to check out on Saturday, and of course New Belgium will be providing beer.
