This Colorado City is One of the Rudest in the Nation
As an adult who has moved from coast to coast on numerous occasions to further my career, I have run into some rather unsavory people. We're not talking about strangers in a dark alley unsavory. We're talking about just plain rude people. I grew up in Colorado and people from this state are generally nice overall.
There is something about the East Coast and rudeness that go hand in hand. Maybe people in this area are just jaded by life and sick of dealing with people every day. Maybe they don't have the patience to deal with anyone at all. I am not sure what it is, but people from the East Coast of the United States can come across as rude. Especially in the state of Florida.
Preply released a report on the rudest cities in America for 2024 and it did not surprise me in the least to find two Florida cities in the top three when it comes to rudeness. Colorado has what I like to call Mountain Hospitality. Think Midwest hospitality with a sprinkle of elevation. Coloradans can be really nice, but that doesn't mean every Colorado city is full of pleasant people.
Colorado Springs is one of the rudest cities in the nation
Preply's report on the rudest cities in the United States put one Colorado city on the list. With an overall ranking of 46 cities, three Colorado locations made the list. However, one city is worse than others.
Colorado Springs, Colorado, ranked as the rudest city in the state of Colorado and the 17th rudest city in the nation with an overall rudeness score of 7.87 according to Preply. Both Denver and Aurora, Colorado, made it on the rudest cities in the United States list too. Aurora ranked as the second rudest city in the state at 32 and Denver was right behind at 34.
The top five rudest cities in the nation are Oakland, California, Louisville, Kentucky, Tampa, Florida, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and the rudest city in the nation was Miami, Florida. To see the full list of the rudest cities in the United States, visit preply.com.
