Fort Collins may have lost The Lost Cajun.

According to the Coloradoan, the Louisiana-style restaurant arrived at 331 S. Meldrum St. in late 2015 with the goal of serving "really great, high quality, and very consistent" food to the Choice City.

Based on the eatery's TripAdvisor reviews, it succeeded in this endeavor for years. Unfortunately, it now appears that The Lost Cajun has closed its Fort Collins doors for good.

Townsquare NoCo first learned of the possible closure from a local Facebook group, where residents were lamenting the loss of their favorite Cajun hotspot. While the restaurant hasn't commented on the situation, there may be some truth to the rumors.

The Lost Cajun last posted on Facebook in November of 2022 — the comments on the post are questions about the eatery's "open" status. It's also listed as "permanently closed" on Google, and its phone number is disconnected.

Restaurant Business reports that The Lost Cajun franchise struggled during the COVID-19 pandemic but appeared to be on the up and up early last year. Sadly, this doesn't seem to be the case for the Fort Collins location.
