The Flatirons Mall Disney Store Location is Closing
A little bit of magic will soon be leaving the Flatirons Mall located in Broomfield, Colorado. According to the Disney Store site, their location in the Flatirons Mall will be closing on March 23.
The closure of the location comes after Disney announced their intention to significantly reduce their number of Disney Store locations in order to move more towards e-commerce. The announcement, posted on March 3, states that at least 60 North American stores will close in 2021.
Disney stores located in California and Texas will be the most affected. California is expected to shutter nine stores and Texas will be closing eight. The closure of the Disney Store at the Flatirons Mall in Broomfield will leave only one single Disney Store for the entire state of Colorado.
After March 23, the only remaining Disney Store in the state of Colorado will be at the Park Meadows Mall located in Lone Tree.
