Is This Gem Home of the Best Burger in Colorado?

There are some incredible places to eat in Colorado. There are many hidden gems in small mountain towns, hidden in big towns, or hidden in the city. It doesn't matter what kind of food is your favorite; you can find a place that serves some great selections. In Northern Colorado, there are many great options when it comes to eating. There are great Mexican restaurants, Italian restaurants, American food, steaks, seafood, and much more. Everyone seems to have their favorite places. There is a hidden gem in one Northern Colorado town that might be home to the best hamburger in the state, and you may be driving past it every day without knowing. 

The Best Hamburger in Colorado?

Many places claim to have the best hamburger, but who truly does? It depends on what you look for in a good burger. Some like them charbroiled, some like them grilled, some like a burger with the works, while others like them more simply. One place in Northern Colorado may have the best burger in the state, but the restaurant is slightly hidden. In Loveland, there is a place called Hogfish, located at 1440 Diana Drive, which is just off of 14th Avenue near Taft. It is a little off the beaten path, and if you don't know it is there, you may be driving past some of the best food in the area and missing out.

Hogfish offers a great combination of seafood, hamburgers, and BBQ. The restaurant is open Monday 4 PM to 9 PM, closed on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 11 AM to 8 PM, Friday and Saturday from 11 M to 9 PM, and Sunday 11 AM to 8 PM. There are some great options on the menu, but the best item, in my opinion, is the Hogfish Burger. This burger offers a meat patty, topped with smoked pork, pickles, mild BBQ sauce, and cheese. It is the right combination of burger and BBQ mixed together and satisfies so many cravings in one bite. The fries are a great pair, and some of the better fries you will find in the area.
