Temple Grandin Chosen as Grand Marshal For Fort Collins St. Patrick’s Day Parade
You probably saw the movie "Temple Grandin" starring Claire Danes. I did and loved it. Now CSU Professor Temple Grandin has been chosen as grand marshal for Lucky Joe's St. Patrick's Day Parade in downtown Fort Collins next month.
According to a CSU press release, this is Grandin's 1st time as a parade grand marshal.
The esteemed professor travels the world to discuss her pioneering work in farm-animal welfare and her experience overcoming personal struggles with autism. Grandin was also the subject of a highly acclaimed Hollywood movie.
The downtown Fort Collins parade will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 16th, and will travel a route about 1 mile long through Old Town.
