Teacher Tuesday: September's Teacher of the Month Is Kris Richter

You nominated four local teachers for going above and beyond in September, and we asked you to vote for your favorite educator to be Teacher of the Month.

Now, the results are in.

September's Teacher of the Month is...

Kris Richter, a kindergarten teacher at Benjamin Eaton Elementary School. Ms. Richter's student Grayson and his mom Sadey nominated her for being "an amazing soul [who] deserves only the best."

Ms. Richter told Townsquare NoCo that her favorite thing about being a teacher is her students, stating that she loves "seeing their little smiling faces when I open the door each morning."

When she's not teaching, Ms. Richter likes listening to country music and watching Yellowstone.

To thank Ms. Richter for working hard to serve local students in our community, we're honoring her with four amazing prizes.
