JBS Greeley has about 3,600 employees, but Vince Snyder has never felt like a cog in the machine in the 40 years he's worked there.

I met Vince recently as part of my ongoing effort to share employee stories from this major local employer. He told me how he started as a meat cutter in 1983, and thanks to support from management, he has been able to grow into a jack of all trades. He has been able to climb the ladder through many different roles.

He appreciates that JBS' company culture affords him a great work-life balance and that company leaders have a deep commitment to their employees and the industry.

"This group of people, this is what they grew up in," he said. "This is what drives their existence. No silver spoons in that family."

Vince appreciates that every single day at JBS is different. He told me that he is never bored because there is a new problem to solve and he is learning new skills every day.

The themes reflected in his story were repeated as I talked with so many other JBS employees. They believe that JBS leaders reward hard work with both the training and opportunities needed to grow while valuing teamwork and diversity. No matter what your background is, JBS is a place where you can go to work knowing that both your potential and your contributions are valued. If you or someone you know is ready to see their career dedication and motivation rewarded, learn more about the opportunities at JBS at jbsfoodsgroup.com.
