Have you ever been to a Costco on a Saturday afternoon? If you haven't, let me be the first to tell you that it is a complete mad house, especially the one in Timnath. Honestly, I try to avoid Costco locations on the weekend solely based on the sheer number of people in the store.

So what did I do Saturday afternoon? I bravely decided to go and check out the new Longmont Costco. To my utter surprise, the Longmont Costco wasn't nearly as busy as I thought it would be given that it had just opened two days prior.

The new Costco location is 205 East Ken Pratt Boulevard in Longmont. Side note, don't trust Apple Maps to get you there. You will either pull into another parking lot too soon or miss it totally if you are going in the opposite direction. The first telltale sign of how busy a Costco is going to be is by the number of cars in the parking lot.

The Longmont Costco had a seemingly full parking lot, but we had zero issues locating parking close to the entrance. Upon walking into the Longmont Costco, we were greeted and showed our membership card to gain entry into the warehouse. This is where the fun began.

To my surprise, this Costco didn't seem like it was all that busy. Plenty of room to roam, browse, and shop. After about an hour and $220 later we decided that it was time to check out and head back home. We were able to check out in less than five minutes and be on our merry way.

I did take some photos for you to see the inside of the new Longmont Costco so you can see it for yourself:
