Over the past several weeks, there have been several reports of driver's windows being shot out while traveling on I-25. Monday (May 11), I-25 was shut down due to a truck's window being blown out for a different reason.
(Update 10-19-14) The driver of a white truck that caused the accident that shut down both directions of I-25 Saturday afternoon (October 18) is being investigated by CSP for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Southbound I-25 has reopened following multiple accidents south of Harmony and near Prospect that forced a closure of the roadway earlier this evening. I-25 Northbound and Southbound is now open from Wellington (Milemarker 298-277) to the Colorado/Wyoming state line after being closed earlier this morning due to numerous accidents and adverse conditions. Drive carefully as roads may still be slick.
