Honor Flight Northern Colorado

I cannot wait for our Veterans Day fundraiser for Honor Flight Northern Colorado coming up the night of Veterans Day November 11th at Ricky B's in Windsor with Sean Curtis Band. I am so thankful to all the record labels who have given me items for our live and silent auctions.

This Thursday it all begins. Charley Barnes and Mike Neuerburg will once again attempt to ride their motorcycles 10,000 miles in 10 days to raise money and awareness for Honor Flight Northern Colorado. I love these men and appreciate what they are doing from the bottom of my heart. You are true patriots my friends.

There is no group of people who deserve our love, respect, gratitude and support more than our veterans. We owe them everything and every bit of sacrifice we can make to help them is nothing compared to what they have done for us. No one knows this and lives this more than our friend Charley Barnes.

Charley Barnes and Mike Neuerburg are at it again. These two patriots are once again going to attempt the nearly impossible and ride 10,000 miles in 10 days to raise money for Honor Flight Northern Colorado to send our veterans to the memorials built for them while they are still with us.

A video editor I'm not, that's your first warning. Mike Neuerburg and I have also been known to use words that aren't family friendly, that's your second warning!

The 2-week series comes to a close today as I recap the last day of our attempted 10,000 mile Honor Flight Northern Colorado Endurance Ride. Today, it was Mike's turn for a setback.

The scenery from what we had been used to would change drastically on this leg. Today, Mike and I would ride through the bowels of hell to meet the SoCal boys.

Another big day for Mike and I. First thing on the agenda was to head for Copper Mountain Harley-Davidson to see if they had the part that I desperately needed.

Today's story covers Friday, June 12. A very somber day in the fact that Mike Neuerburg and I had realized a very dark fact the previous day. It wouldn't stop us though.

Leg 5 covers June 10 to June 11 and a meeting with the Bissen brother's from Iowa who would meet us in North Dakota. Would today be a mishap free day?
