Colorado Skiing and Snowboarding

It's like these three event organizers conspired to make Coloradans drive up into the mountains (to go skiing, or hiking, or just to get away for the weekend,) terrible.

In the summer of 2023, Arapahoe Basin brought on a new patrol pup, Olive. The black Labrador fits right into the Summit County vibe, especially when it comes to snow.

Billed as a day of "fun, freedom and acceptance in the outdoors," this festival in Colorado in March of 2024, will be the fourth such event.

Each year, it's a race to crank up the lifts, blow enough snow to cover an entire run, and open the gates for people who love to slip and slide on the snow. This year, it will be Arapahoe Basin that opens first.
