Sunday’s Demolition Derby at Greeley Stampede Always a Crowd Favorite

The Greeley Stampede Demolition Derby is something you don't want to miss, especially if you've never seen one. I hear that we might even see some RV's this year.

Cars crashing and smashing into each other, engine revving till the blow parts through the motor, and more dirt-flying fun that over a 100 drivers can deliver. This multi-heat demo derby is an annual favorite of the Stampede and has been sold out for most of the past decade.

The event is produced by the Colorado Demolition Derby Racing Association and has a purse of over $22,000 so there is some serious competition to be had. There will be 6 motor homes included in the mayhem, and more oil, gas and tire smells than you can imagine.
