Starbucks is known for their coffee and they have been expanding their brand with a variety of products. However, one is getting recalled after it lacerated a child. The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is informing the public of a recall involving the stainless steel beverage straws sold by Starbucks after it was found to pose a risk of injury to children. The product that is priced around $6.00, features ridges at the bottom that keep the straw attached to the lid. According to the CPSC, three children have suffered mouth lacerations while drinking with the straw. While the produce was sold individually, it was also available in a cup combo pack.
