Spiders From Around the World Crawl Into Colorado
If you happen to have a severe case of arachnophobia, this might not be an event you want to go to. But, if you are a little scared of spiders and are curious to see some rare eight-legged bugs, this is going to be the exhibit you will want to check out this fall in Colorado.
The Butterfly Pavillion has announced the return of the Spiders Around the World exhibit is crawling back to Colorado. This limited-time exhibit at Westminster's Butterfly Pavillion will feature fascinating and colorful spiders from all over the world.
One of the features is just for those who fear spiders. If you are wanting to face your fear of spiders, you can test your luck in the Face Your Fears Spider Zone. This area is filled with hundreds of free-roaming spiders that spans 80 feet and takes up a third of the Wings of the Tropics butterfly conservatory. The Face Your Fears Spider Zone lets you walk freely with the spiders with no barriers.
See Tarantulas From Around the World In Colorado
One of the coolest exhibits at Spiders Around the World would have to be the Tarantulas. The Butterfly Pavillion has two tarantulas named Rosie and Goldie. However, during the exhibit, extended family members of the large, hairy spiders will be in town. More than 20 different tarantula species from the Americas, Asia, Africa, Australia, and Oceania will be on display.
