These Local Businesses Don’t Get The Love They Deserve
If there's one thing Northern Colorado has, it's small businesses. I love that about our area. But some don't get the love they deserve.
Let's talk about small businesses in Northern Colorado that don't get nearly enough love.
Akins in Fort Collins
This is a must-visit when we have family in town. Akinz specializes in Colorado apparel, and here's my favorite part: the t-shirts are so soft. Every one of them, and that's a big deal for me. Who doesn't want to slip into a super soft Colorado t-shirt on the weekend?
You can visit them M-S from 10-7 AM and Sunday from 11-6 PM.
The Fabulous Junk Trunk in Loveland
Who doesn't love thrift shopping? You can find some amazing things, and one of the first places I stop is at The Fabulous Junk Trunk in Loveland.
This biz is locally operated, and you can find so much more than clothes, including antiques and home decor.
You can find them in Loveland at 1106 E 1st Street.
Thistle in Wellington
One of my go-tos for witty and sometimes inappropriate gifts. Of course, you can still get other items that aren't filthy, but what's the fun in that?
Okay, if you're buying for someone a little more on the straight-and-narrow, you should check out their amazing clothing.
The Downtown Oddity Parlor in Greeley
The name alone should give you a clue as to what to expect. This boutique is the place to find art, strange collectibles, antiques, and other curiosities.
Check them out at 906 9th Avenue. This is definitely a local shop you must check out the next time you're in Greeley.
