Northern Colorado is home to some great places to eat. There are incredible local places, regional food chains, and some national food chains. With so many eating options, it can be tough to choose where to go when going out for a meal. If you have moved from some other place or travel a lot, you may notice that there are some food chains that are missing in Northern Colorado, though. Which food chains do not call Northern Colorado home that you would like to see open a location in the area?

Fazoli's in Northern Colorado

When was the last time you had Fazoli's? The once-popular Italian fast-food chain is still around, despite many locations closing over the last decade. Unless there is one nearby, you likely thought they were entirely out of business. There are actually still a few in Colorado, but none in the Northern Colorado area. The closest one is in Northglenn, which isn't a terrible drive, but is a little far for a meal. There aren't many fast-food Italian places, and Fazoli's would be a great addition to Northern Colorado.

Outback in Northern Colorado

Outback used to call Northern Colorado home, but over the last couple of years, many locations have closed nationwide, including in Northern Colorado. There are still some in the state, with the closest being Thornton, but adding one back to the area would be nice. Driving to Thornton when you crave a Blooming Onion is a little bit too far a drive.

Unlike others on the list, White Castle has no locations in Colorado, but many still enjoy their hamburgers. You can often find them in the grocery store, but having to heat a frozen slider isn't the same as having a fresh one from the restaurant. Hopefully, the chain will one day expand into Colorado and choose to open a location in Northern Colorado.

Also like White Castle, Habit is not in Colorado, but is in some states that border Colorado. There are locations in Utah and in Arizona. The charbroiled hamburger chain offers delicious hamburgers, fries, and lemonade. They are a popular chain that is continuing to expand, and perhaps one day could open a location in Northern Colorado. It would be a nice addition to the Fort Collins area.

Whataburger is mostly based in the southern United States, and there are multiple locations in Colorado, but sadly, none of them are north of Denver. The popular chain is open 24/7 and would give residents in the area something to eat late at night, early in the morning, or any time throughout the day. With many locations in the Colorado Springs area, perhaps one day they will expand to the northern part of the state.

Arctic Circle in Fort Collins

Arctic Circle is not as well known as some others on this list, but it is just as delicious. Their chicken rings are great, their mini corndogs are perfect for all ages, and their ice cream selection makes it hard to choose what to order. There is a location in Wyoming and many locations in Utah, but sadly, none in Colorado. Being so close, there is hope that one day they may expand and open a location in Northern Colorado.

Swig in Northern Colorado

Swig is coming to Colorado, but sadly, they are not going to be opening a location in Northern Colorado, for now. There will be some locations opening in Colorado Springs coming soon, and if those locations are successful, hope is high that eventually a location or a few will open in Northern Colorado. A Swig in each town in the area would be greatly appreciated.

These are only a few of the food chains and drink chains that are not in Northern Colorado, but hopefully some or all of them will eventually return or call Northern Colorado home in the future. What places would you like to see move into Northern Colorado, and which would you like to see move in the most?
