Rescheduled Walking Tour – Linn Grove Cemetery in Greeley
The Greeley Historic Preservation Commission invites the public to the rescheduled walking tour of history and trees of Linn Grove Cemetery, on Monday, August 20th at 6:00 p.m. City Forestry Manager Shiloh Hatcher and Linn Grove Cemetery Manager David Naill will lead the tour through a portion of Greeley’s historic cemetery.
Participants will catch glimpses of history from 1874 to the present. The walking tour will also include brief stops to admire select historic trees and a few new tree selections, as we discover the foundation of Linn Grove Cemetery from yesterday and into the future.
This free public tour begins at the main building at Linn Grove Cemetery, 1700 Cedar Avenue. No reservations are required, but participants should wear walking shoes and bring a water bottle.
