A few years ago, I purchased a 3D printer to tinker with in the cold winter months in Colorado. I immediately loved it. From assembling the machine, calibrating, and running through the diagnostics, to watching the first layers of the print on my newly assembled printer, it was all magical.

How 3D Printing Has Evolved
Years later, I am still into 3D printing. My machine has changed, of course, as have my goals and ideas when it comes to 3D printing things for my everyday use. The industry of 3D printing has come a long way in the past few years, and more industries are utilizing its technology. From the creation of parts to forging pathways into industries we never thought possible, this form of creation is here to stay.
This week, a 3D printing company that specializes in aerospace-grade composites announced the expansion into the state of Colorado, with its headquarters and manufacturing facility located in Broomfield.
