Snow and bitter cold are headed our way. Saturday evening rain will turn to snow.

Up to a foot of snow could blanket Fort Collins by Sunday evening. A low of 5 on Sunday night, with wind chills predicted around -3 according to the National Weather Service.

The Winter Storm Watch says "colder temperature and snow will result in snow-covered roads and slick travel conditions."

We can only hope the snow will help firefighters get an edge on the massive fires burning in our area.
