With the long-anticipated openings of multiple In-N-Out's throughout the state, Whataburger breaking ground in the Springs, and recent news of several more Shake Shack's in the works, it's become a full-out battle of the burger joints in Colorado.

Although there are currently seven Shake Shacks already operating within the Centennial State, the restaurant just announced exciting plans to open the franchise's first-ever drive-thru here as well.

In December 2021, Shake Shake opened a "drive-up" pickup window in Greenwood Village, but by spring of 2022, a full drive-thru will be open in Castle Rock, Colorado. According to the Denver Post, the current drive-up window allows customers to place orders online and pick them up without having to get out of the car. The drive-thru will differ in that diners will be able to order and pick up their food at the same time, at the window. It's a quicker experience, especially for people on the go.

The Castle Rock drive-thru will be located at 6489 Promenade Parkway.
