One Extra Gift Toy Drive A Huge Success – Thank You! [PHOTOS]

The 2011 One Extra Gift Toy Drive was an enormous success. K99 teamed up with our sister stations Tri 102.5, Santa 94.3, and 99.9 the Point on Saturday to collect toys for Larimer and Weld County Santa Cops. At last count we had collected well over 2,000 toys.

What a great day!  You could feel the good will in the air.  One of the highlights of our day in Greeley was when a group of employees from Walmart came out  of the store with 3 shopping carts loaded with toys. At the Loveland location, Walmart donated an entire pallet of toys. We thank them for their wonderful generosity.

However, it's the little moments that really stick with you.  We had a gentlemen stop by on Saturday and ask if a dollar would help. "Heck Yes"! That dollar meant more to that guy than $10 or $20 would mean to most of us.  Can you imagine if every single person were to give a dollar? We would raise thousands!

Thousands of kids in Northern Colorado will get toys this Christmas thanks to Santa Cops and thanks to you! THANK YOU; from the bottom of our hearts!
