Thanks to the donation from Noble Energy, the Weld Food Bank will be able to purchase a new 38-food refrigerated box truck. Allowing the food bank to save money and deliver food to needy families more efficiently. The new truck will be powered by natural gas and cary up to 12 pallets of food while keeping everything fresh. According to the Coloradoan, the Weld Food Bank services the entire 4,000 square miles of Weld County and the truck will use the tuck to pick up food on a daily basis from local retail and farm locations.
