It is always devastating when a place closes, especially if it is a place you enjoy. This can pertain to a retail store, a business, or a restaurant. There are many great places in Northern Colorado, but the location of a certain place may determine how often you visit. Most residents in Northern Colorado prefer to have places near their homes or workplaces to make for a convenient stop and not have to go out of their way. Recently, a fast food chain closed a location in Loveland, and the building is currently sitting empty, but one popular food chain would be the perfect option to fill the vacant building.

Carl's Jr., located at 1340 N Cleveland Avenue in Loveland, is closed, and the building is currently sitting unoccupied. Before you get too sad, there is still a Carl's Jr in the area, located at 4140 Clydesdale Pkwy. This is a little bit more of a drive for some, but the good news is that there is still one in the area. With the building being a great location at a busy intersection in the heart of Loveland, many places will likely be wanted for this prime real estate, but what would be the best option? How about adding a Krispy Kreme to the area, offering residents an option for warm glazed donuts, without even having to get out of their car?

Some may disagree with this proposal, seeing how there is a Krispy Kreme already in Northern Colorado, located at 4624 S Mason Street, in Fort Collins. While yes, there is one in the area, for those in Johnstown, Greeley, Loveland, Windsor, and other surrounding areas, this is a drive to get some donuts. Adding one on Cleveland would allow more residents in the area to enjoy warm donuts without having to drive out of their way, and to pick up a box or two on their way to work, to church, or to enjoy some donuts on a weekend morning. The building has a kitchen, a drive-thru, and a great location. Yes, other places could fill the area just as nicely, but Krispy Kreme would be a fantastic addition and be something the area is missing in Loveland.

What do you think? Would you like to see another Krispy Kreme in Northern Colorado, or would you prefer something else fill the area? If not donuts, what would you like to see move into the building in this prime real estate in Loveland, Colorado?

Krispy Kreme Opens in Northern Colorado

It was in January of 2023, that Krispy Kreme announced they'd be breaking ground on a new location, the first for Northern Colorado, by March of that year; by the summer of the following year, where there was once a Fazoli's Italian restaurant, there was Krispy Kreme.

For those not familiar, Debbie Duz Donuts opened in the summer of 1989 as a coffee/doughnut shop where the waitresses went topless. The shop closed after one year of controversy and international attention.
