In an COVID-19 update on Wednesday (Nov. 18), the Larimer County Department of Health reported new COVID-19 cases, deaths and additional outbreaks to its cumulative tally - a set of numbers that have been recorded and updated regularly since the start of the pandemic.

According to the Loveland Reporter-Herald, Larimer County added 380 new COVID-19 cases to its tally on Wednesday (Nov. 18); The county's new cumulative total is 7,102.

Among the 380 new COVID-19 cases, 246 cases were found in Fort Collins, 70 in Loveland, 13 in Wellington, 11 in Estes Park, 11 in Berthoud and 10 in Windsor.

The youngest case is a 3-year-old Fort Collins boy, and the oldest case is a 94-year-old Fort Collins woman.

Additionally, the Larimer County Department of Health reported 2 new COVID-19 related deaths - two 84-year-old Fort Collins men who both died on Nov. 9. The number of deaths in Larimer County since the beginning of the pandemic in March now stands at 65.

COVID-19 outbreaks in Larimer County are updated weekly on Wednesdays; In the county's latest update, 25 new outbreaks were recorded - bringing the county's cumulative total of outbreaks to 143.

An outbreak is two or more cases at a single business, care center or activity.

Among the 143 outbreaks, 73 are currently active. Locations of newly listed outbreaks include:

  • Thompson Valley High School, Loveland - 4 confirmed, 2 probable cases among student body; 1 confirmed case among staff
  • Loveland High School, Loveland - 5 confirmed, 1 probable case among student body
  • Hillcrest of Loveland, Loveland - 5 cases among residents and staff
  • Lemay Avenue Health and Rehabilitation, Fort Collins - 7 cases among residents and staff
  • North Shore Health and Rehabilitation, Loveland - 9 cases among residents and staff
  • Rehabilitation and Nursing Center of the Rockies, Fort Collins - 5 cases among residents and staff

Larimer County remains a high risk area.
