Movies of Every Genre to Literally Netflix and Chill With on a Snowy Weekend
It's about to get really cold up in here, Northern Colorado, so stay indoors this weekend, grab a hot cocoa and get ready to Netflix and chill (literally). Whether you like a good thriller or a feel-good flick, here are some of my picks.
CHICK FLICK: Chalet Girl
I'm not even embarrassed to have this on my list because Ed Westwick - hellooo. It's a cute chick flick about a girl who learns to snowboard and everyone is British. There are some scenes that are going to warm you right up though.
Because Ed Westwick.
THRILLER: White Bird in a Blizzard
This movie based on the book by Laura Kasischke isn't actually about a blizzard, but I did get drawn into it's mystique pretty quickly. After Kat's (Shailene Woodley) mother disappears, a series of flashbacks clue us into what may have happened to her. Not an uplifting feel-good film, but a pretty interesting one nevertheless.
DRAMA: Hollidaysburg
If you're a college student, then you're probably about to head back to school for your next semester. You may have felt the reality of the movie Hollidaysburg for yourself if you went back to your hometown for the first time since high school.
Also, the soundtrack was pretty good.
HORROR: The Shining
The chilling thriller about an isolated mountain hotel in Colorado is a good scary movie for a snowy weekend.
